Help!
I am trying to finish RE on GameCube with Jill on Real Survival mode but I am stuck with my last save in the labs entrance room with the following ammo:
1 assault shotgun bullet (plus gun!);
1 round of handgun bullets (plus gun!);
survival knife;
1 dagger.
I have no herbs and the one ink ribbon slot left is of no use! This is not my first trip to the labs; prior to the save I had already shot/killed some cratures...
I got once as far as the Tyrant scene but no shotgun ammo is given after climbing up the elevator with Barry, and my feeble attempt at killing the white giant with a mere knife ended up exactly as you would think it might have ended.
The point is to preserve ammo, but with three zombies waiting out on first floor landing, and another two downstairs, plus two yellow-looking ones on the way to fetch the empty (nitro-fuelled) capsule, and at least four ant-mutants (whatever they are), there is no chance to preserve ammo. Without herbs, I keep failing. Went back to the mansion and the only herbs available (two greens) are guarded by two Crimson Heads, who want breakfast!
Any ideas?
PS - Although I managed to kill Yawn in the Mansion Library with the survival knife (which took so many stabs it must have been near the 80 mark, not to mention time and thumb-effort running after its tail around the bookshelves without getting caught in the open bit!)... although I managed that, I think Tyrant is too tall and quick, but has anyone tried? Maybe I could enjoy some back-stabbing?
