Though it seems like the GBA SP has been around for ages, the console has just reached the first anniversary of its launch in the US. And it's done so in some style; the SP is the fastest-selling console ever in America.
The GBA SP has sold around 6.5 million units in the States; those are the highest figures ever reported for a console's first year's sales figures in the territory. The total number of GBA's sold in the US stands at around 20 million, meanwhile.
