Nintendo trying to make GC portable

I have read that Nintendo is trying to make GameCube to be a portable.

Nintendo has plans to release a new version of the GameCube this year that will be portable.

"A portable GameCube device would bring next-generation graphics to the portable market -- a market dominated by Nintendo with no competition from Sony or Microsoft," Doherty said.

Yeah, at gamestop.com there is this thing called the gamecube hip screen pad or something like that, all it looks like is a little screen on a GC controller

I go to Gamestop all the time and I never saw that. Anyway they are making PSP which is gonna be Playstation 2 graphics so technically when they make the "portable Gamecube" they will have competition from Sony. I dont know about Microsoft yet. Microsoft..... .
