Gates Calls Nintendo Microsoft's Biggest Competitor
Less than a year after Microsoft’s Peter Moore slammed Sony saying, in effect, that consumers would likely purchase Xbox 360s and Wiis together for the price of a PlayStation 3, Bill Gates said Nintendo was Microsoft’s biggest competitor. “The strength of Nintendo…has been very impressive, and I think surprised a lot of people--and the strength of the Wii. We see Nintendo as the toughest competition,” Gates said on Japanese TV.
