Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) awarded a licensing agreement for the animated TV show Teen Titans to Majesco. The Warner Bros. Animation production Teen Titans is based upon DC Comics characters, and is currently airing on Cartoon Network and Kids' WB. Artificial Mind & Movement will develop titles based on the franchise to release in 2005 and 2006. "Teen Titans characters are widely popular in both comic books and on television, and we are excited to introduce these young superheroes to the video game audience," said Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing at Majesco. "We are confident that Teen Titans will appeal to video game players of all ages as it promotes the important themes of friendship, teamwork and perseverance throughout this action-packed game." "The Teen Titanssuper heroes lend themselves to being strong videogame characters with their action and humor filled adventures," said Jason Hall, senior vice president of WBIE. "We look forward to working with Majesco on quality games that will appeal to action adventure players, as well as the fan base of the television series and the comic books."
