Recently, it has been discovered that Sega has put a trademark on the title Gunstar Super Heroes, which could be the sequel/port to the cult hit Gunstar Heroes for the Mega Drive/Genesis system. Developed by Treasure, the wizards behind many games, including Dynamite Headdy, Mischief Makers, and, more recently, Ikaruga, Gunstar Heroes is remembered fondly by many gamers as both an awesome home and arcade game.
Unfortunately, Sega is being decidedly tight lipped about the recent announcement. Nothing else is known, from what system it will be on, to whether or not Treasure is involved. Of course, as more information is released, you can be sure that Games Are Fun will keep you up to date.
