Though Midway has yet to announce it, EB Games is already taking pre-orders for a limited edition of the upcoming title.
EB Games began listing a Collector's Edition for Mortal Kombat: Deception today. Selling for $10 more than the standard edition, the limited edition package looks to include: a copy of Mortal Kombat: Deception, special edition packaging, an "arcade perfect" version of Mortal Kombat 1, a comprehensive history of the Mortal Kombat series, 25 character video biographies and a numbered trading card.
The latest entry in the Mortal Kombat series, Deception offers full online play, mini-games and an enhanced single player campaign. With special editions of Halo 2 and Madden NFL 2005 also due out this fall, it seems that more console developers are hopping on the collector's edition bandwagon that PC gamers have enjoyed for so long.
