The latest issue of Dorimaga is claiming that Red Entertainment have confirmed a sequel to GunGrave - its manga influenced PS2 action shooter.
GunGrave OD sees the return of the mysterious main character complete with a new coffin and costume. The article also announces the first details on two new characters known to feature in the game – Rocket Billy Red Cadillac who wears a red costume and carries a guitar and Kabane Juuji who wears a cloth coat over a dark costume and two handheld gun-sword weapons.
The series producer claims that GunGrave OD will have substantially more depth then the ‘frills-over-substance’ original, whilst the OD stands for overdose and describes the increase in action, carnage and special effects.
GunGrave OD is scheduled for a Japanese release in Spring 2004, no word on a Western release as of yet.
