Hey vact666 and welcome, I am glad RE is on GameCube now I have the first and its great.
Look at least PS2 gets Silent Hill games.

i tried silent hill 1 on my friends ps2(took a hell of a long time to load, cheap laser lens probably worn out) and it was a pretty good game. probably 1 of the best psx and ps2 games. never played silent hill 2. the only other ps game i like besides silent hill is gta3 which i have on computer and i keep hearing the ps version sucks

is resident evil 0 on the ps2 or game cube? because if its on the gamecube i hate it  why? dont judge a game because of what system it is on. resident evil 0 and resident evil 4 will be great on the gamecube. they would suck on the ps2 because after a week of gameplay the dumb ps2 would stop playing the disc because of an unknown technical problem. |

I am not sure. I guess it doesn't matter seeing as Resident Evil online is for the PS2 and so is Dead Aim.

You are right how could they move the RE games from the ps platforms. Not a lot of people can afford to keep buying new consoles just so they can follow their favorite games. The Re games is the main reason i bought a gamecube otherwise i would of stayerd with the ps platforms i have both. oh well anything to make money i guess.  |

I like it on Gamecube... well since thats what I own.
But to make every one happy it should be on PS2 and Gamecube.
But hey at least Playstation has Silent HIll.

well if you ask me capcom would be fools to leave the resi series on the gamecube only. think about it why would they limit the amount of people that can and will buy the game by making it on one console, apart from the fact that the ps2 is the most succesful console out there. it would be prudent for capcom to produce the game for all three major consoles that way the revenue stream is likely to that much larger so they will be able to produce more resi games for us all. that and the gc is crap will be why the resi series comes back to the ps2. mind you the gc is only 79 quid now soon it'l be less than 50 so i might purchase one then  |

Whats up with all of the Fanboyness?
The only reason the Game Cube did'nt sell is because it was labeled the kiddy machine and Nintendo didnt allow many third party games on it, no games - no sales.
If you want to get to the machine itself, its much more suited for the amount of power RE4 will need, but even then if they were going for the most powerfull machine overall it would be Xbox.
I had a PS2, and it broke. Soon after that I got a GC and it was really a breathe of fresh air, but I missed some of my older titles so I got my Ps2 fixed, but GC isnt crap and if you say the machine is crap then you are a seriouse fanboy... Theres nothing to back that up.
Im all for keeping the Resident Evil series on GC, and your all acting like GC gets them all, just look at all the other horror titles you guys get, even 2 RE games - one of them being probably the funnest being RE Outbreak..
But no... you see a few of your preciouse games go to a system with few games as it is and you freak out?
Get over it, you guys cant have all the games.
I love PS2 and GameCube both, but I'd prefer it on Game Cube.

I like the gamecube and it dont bother me if it's on the gamecube, hell if it wasn't on the gamecube I wouldn't be playing Resident Evil.
