StreetMagician1 - Age 3 has started, you have left your Age 2 recruitment URL, you might want to edit your new one in? LOL Mikelee - you have a recruit ....... mikelee2 is building an army of Humans and now has 499 soldiers in mikelee2's war machine Equal1z3r - getting invalid user ID for you ... is this your Age 2 link? Did you know you get issued with a new one for Age 3? Again, you might want to log into KoC and update your post  Maddog & Shadow ...... it's a great game, will take a few minutes out of your day, but can be very addictive, so watch out! Hope it's okay to post more than once in a thread? The explanation can take a while, and if it's all in one post it's hard to take in ...... |

Kay ...... first of all Kings of Chaos is Child Friendly  lt's an online role playing game based on The Lord of the Rings. When you join, you choose your race, Human, Dwarf, Elf or Orc. Each of them has a bonus, either money, defense, espionage or attack. You need to decide which you want to be, and then you can start playing. You will be given money +/-50,000 gold and 1 recruit to start with, so you can log in and go to the armoury section to buy. You will also have your recruitment URL, (like Mikelee left us here - after you have been recruited into the army you also have a chance to "Join the War" - or you can join without a commander too, if you want - l'm not going to spam anyone here  ) Go here: www.kingsofchaos.com and you will see a page with 4 shields on it, one for each race - decide which race you want to be, and click the 'join' button under it. (You may choose a commander later on in the game if you wish - make sure you pick a good one, though, cos you can only change your commander 1 time in each age.) GOLDYou get gold every "Turn" which is half an hour. How much gold depends on 2 things: 1) Your race - humans get 25% more than the other races; 2) How many recruits you have. The more recruits you have, the more gold you get every "Turn" (the secret to success in this game, especially to start with, is getting recruits - the more you have the more gold you get per turn, l'll explain this in the next post) You can use this gold for training or to buy more recruits, mercenaries, upgrades to fortification or siege technology, armour, weapons and tools, etc. The more you buy, the stronger you are. ATTACK TURNSEvery "Turn" you get 1 Attack Turn. You can use these to attack other players and try to steal their gold - which you then spend quickly before some wise-guy tries to do the same to you There is an "Attack" option in your menu, you click it and you will see hundreds and hundreds of players listed along with their user-stats. HOW TO PLAY KINGS OF CHAOS
Kay, you have chosen your race, opened your account and now you are ready to go ......
First be aware that a recruit and an officer are 2 different things.
A recruit is what you get when someone clicks on your recruitment link (in your Command Center towards the bottom of the page). This recruit will earn you Gold every half hour.
An officer is someone who joins the game using your referral URL, and every time your officer gets 2 recruits, you automatically get one - so, of course, having officers is a great way of getting ahead in the game.
Getting hits on your recruitment URL is another story - this is sometimes not as easy as it looks.
Your link can only be clicked on once every 24 hours by each IP address.
Of course, you will click on your own link each day, but that is only 1 recruit.
What you need is a way of getting a lot of clicks on your link without breaking the rules of the game.

The more recruits you have, the more gold you earn per turn. There are several ways of doing this, but you will get there sooner if you have others to help you. Joining a clan is one option. They will look after their own, but you are tied to one group. There are lots to choose from, and you can find many of them on the boards of GUA here: www.giveupalready.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=23This is a forum dedicated to KoC, with lots of advice and help. Another way is to try Link Chains. These are unique and allow you to build your army as fast or as slowly as you like. Again, it is forum-based, you will need to join here www.neo.4ever.cc/ but these do not entail your joining a clan or alliance, all you need do is register and then use their chains to build your army to whatever size you feel would suit you. Another option is to find a Clickmaster. This is something which you join, click on all the links of the other members, leave your link behind and hope they click on yours. (My own experience of these has not been too good. l clicked hundreds of links and only got between 20% and 60% return clicks, depending on the clickmaster  ) lt's a lot of clicking in one go, so if you don't have time or prefer to stay in control of your numbers (and your options), you might want to stick with the Link Chains instead. Those particular Link Chains are totally fair, they guarantee you a recruit for every recruit you give, so for me, they have given me the best results. I see you made it over to the www.neo.4ever.cc/ link chains - wtg, you will certainly build your army over there because there are a lot of regular clickers And one for timezero as well: You have been recruited into timezero's army! timezero is building an army of Dwarves and now has 38 soldiers in timezero's war machine.
