Driv3r shoots up to number one after its first full week of being on shelves, after placing at number six last week due to a number of retailers selling the game before its official release date. It's certainly one of the more highly anticipated games of the summer, and its sales this week have been the highest of any game so far this year, so expect it to hang around the upper echelons of the top 10 for the foreseeable future.
Last week's number one, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, drops to number four while the highest new entry comes in the shape of the well-received Xbox action-strategy war-fest Full Spectrum Warrior at number six.
The only other top 20 new entry comes in the shape of PS2 Everquest spin-off Champions of Norrath, which just makes it in at number 19. Outside the top 20, Sonic Advance 3 shoots up from 39 to 21, World Championship Snooker 2004 debuts at 24 while Joint Operations: Typhoon makes its first chart entry at 28.
