Sony vice president Kiyoshi Nishitani has revealed the disc format to be utilised in SCE's PlayStation 3, naming the revered Blu-Ray Disc technology as the firm's chosen technology partner.
Speaking in Japanese daily newspaper the Asahi Shimbun, Nishitani-san stated that the technology, capable of hosting up to a staggering 50GB per disc, will be employed.
Expect more PS3 revelations from this May's E3.
